Pritzker Alumni Accomplishments (2015-2016)

Noble Athletic Conference Champions: Football, Cross Country (boys and girls), Girls Rugby, Cheerleading, Girls Soccer (still playing in IHSA tournament).

NAC All Conference:

  • Football: Elijah Cortez was named player of the year, Joshua Vega, Manny Gomez, Yoluis Chamarro, Alize Aranda,and Jonathan Santos were recognized in Academic All-Conference.
  • Men’s Soccer: Axel Leodegario, Adaly Villamil, David Solis, and Daniel Herrera were recognized in Academic All-Conference.
  • Girls Volleyball: Lian Munez, Janira Gomez, Nitza Rosario
  • Girls Rugby: Taylor Jackson was named player of the year, Melinda Hernandez, (Academic All-Conference & All Conference), Vanessa Rojano, Sheyla Castellanos, Mireya Aguilar
  • Cross Country: Ulises Bautista won men’s individual champion and Jocelin Luna won women’s individual champion.
  • Men’s Basketball: Eddie Miranda won Academic All-Conference.
  • Women’s Basketball: Keyla Romero, Janira Gomez


  • Snowball: Worked hard to plan and host a weekend event for 100 students.
  • Ethics: Participated in First Chicago Regional Ethics Bowl and IIT’s ethics scrimmage.
  • Book Club: Read Perks of Being a Wallflower.
  • Webster’s: Legends and festivals as well as dance and designing own games.
  • Honors Choir: Traveled to Philadelphia and earned 1st place at the festivals of Music.

Film Club: Has analyzed character development through such lenses as race and gender; foreshadowing in non-linear narratives; dramatic irony; and actors’ nuanced portrayals and directors’ intentionality in movies ranging from “Donnie Brasco” and “Do the Right Thing” to “Chef” and “Forrest Gump” to “Pulp Fiction” and “Memento.”
