Molly’s Cupcakes is a place where hanging out with your friends on a swing is nothing unusual. Its uniqueness caught my attention because no other bakery has swings as seats or board games you can play.

Molly’s Cupcakes was built in memory of Miss Molly, who was a third grade teacher. Miss Molly baked her students special treats like cupcakes when any of her students had a birthday to celebrate. Its mission is stated on Molly’s Cupcakes website, “Our mission: In honor of Molly and as a way to help our children, a portion of our profits is donated directly to schools in our community.”

Molly’s Cupcakes has the most lovely and kind hearted employees. One of the employees named Libya said, “I get to meet a lot of great people.” Their customer service is shown by bonding with their customers and always being polite. One customer claimed about the prices for the cupcakes being kinda expensive, but also said it was worth buying a delicious cupcake.

Molly’s Cupcakes has variety of 18 types of cupcakes like the cookie monster, which has a cookie on top of the cupcake, and red velvet cup is one the best in Chicago according to their website. They also have create your own cupcakes and a sprinkle station to decorate your cupcake.

The cupcakes come in different sizes: mini is the smallest, a molly is larger than a mini, and center-filled is the same size as the molly, but the inside of the cupcake has a filling that will surprise your taste buds after giving it a bite.

The place was comfortable to enjoy my vanilla cupcake covered with chocolate yummy frosting. It wasn’t big. It wasn’t small. Just the right size to have people hanging out and savoring their cupcake, cake, etc. We will most definitely go back to Molly’s Cupcakes over and over again. Having Molly’s Cupcakes at Downtown, Chicago is a great location because anybody can enjoy their cupcake or cookies, etc. and explore Downtown’s architecture, events, and much more.
