“Black Panther” is a beautiful, action-packed, and heartfelt movie with an outstanding cast and an unforgettable villain.

“Black Panther” is the newest marvel superhero movie revolving around the Black Panther T’Challa, who goes back to Wakanda after the death of his father. Wakanda is a hidden part of Africa that has advanced technology and is guarded by the Black Panther, which is someone who has super powers and protects Wakanda’s secrets. After the death of his father, T’Challa takes his father’s place as king until T’Challa’s throne is questioned by the villian Erik Killmonger who is on a path to steal the throne from T’Challa and rule Wakanda.

The things that stood out the most from “Black Panther” were the costume designs and the scenery. The costume designs were spectacular. Each tribe in Wakanda had their own outfits that made them stand out. The other aspect of the film that stood out was the scenery. Since the movie took place in an advanced society, the film needed to show how a technologically advanced civilization looks and “Black Panther” did not disappoint. Whether it was the costumes, nature, buildings, or the weapons, every aspect of Wakanda was absolutely beautiful. The visuals of the movie catch your attention and draw you into the movie.

The characters each stood out in their own ways through their unique characteristics. The character that stood out the most to me was Shuri. All of the other characters in the movie were serious and gritty while Shuri was hilarious but very smart. She often cracked jokes or invented numerous weapons that helped aid her brother T’Challa in his fight against Killmonger.

Killmonger as the villain was unforgettable. Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger was phenomenal. His character was very intriguing and had a great backstory that made it easy for the viewers to sympathize with him and his reasons for trying to overthrow T’Challa.

Despite all the positives, there was a minor issue that bothered not only me, but the people I saw the movie with. There were few parts where a green screen was used and it was very obvious. It made it hard to focus on the characters when they were talking because my attention went to the poor background green screen.

All in all, “Black Panther” is a fantastic movie that has many redeeming aspects that keep you on the edge of your seat laughing. “Black Panther” also has a unique story that makes it a perfect movie to see with friends and family.
