Autodesk Sketchbook:a Digital Drawing Realm

Are you an artist? Do you want to try out a new different medium to experiment with? Well, say no more! Autodesk Sketchbook is the app is for you. It’s worth checking out because it’s utilities, portability, and feature.

Autodesk Sketchbook allows users to create art, such as doodles, sketches, and final pieces in their device. The free version offers three layers to draw,  basic utensils to use and a  full drawing interface. The app also contains tutorials on how to use the drawing tools, such as changing the brush size and zooming in and out of the screen.

What does the pro-version offer? For those who want a variety of drawing tools, it is definitely  worth it. There are 100 drawing tools ranging from pencils, pens, brushes, and markers. For those who love working with markers, you need to get it right now! There is a library full of copic colors.

What makes it special? Whether if it’s on your tablet or phone, you can use autodesk sketchbook on the go. One does not have to worry about carrying a sketchbook, pencils, and pens to draw when you have autodesk sketchbook.

Why should I still care? A special  element to this app is its Sketch This category. The user chooses a drawing challenge that is convenient for them. You can share it in Deviantart. It is useful for those who want to improve their art skills.

There has been issues with Autodesk Sketchbook. One issue would be with the gallery. According to Sam Shepherd stated, “However, recently and for NO apparent reason it totally cleared my gallery…”.  However, I never had that issue with this app before. The possibilities are endless with Autodesk Sketchbook.
