Arslan Senki (TV) is amazing to watch, and you can connect with the characters as they show willpower and hard work to archive their goal. The art and animation are amazing and beautiful. The voice of the actors fit perfectly  with the characters and the character designs are simply fantastic.

Arslan is a young and innocent prince, who is the heir to the kingdom of Pars. However, despite his hard efforts, he doesn’t seem to act like a royal member of the family like he should. When, at the age of 14, he is sent to battle, his whole army is slaughtered except for his loyal guard Daryun. His kingdom is captured  by Lusitania, and he is forced into hiding. Neighborhood kingdoms also want to take over the kingdom while it is in chaos because it’s easy to destroy the army in the confusion. But as Arslan sees what could become of his people, he sets out on a journey to gather allies and retrieve his stolen kingdom.

Daryun is Arlan trusted guard and helps the prince makes allies with six amazingly strong and smart people. They even decide to run away from the king’s army in order to join Arslan on his quest to find more soldiers.

The storyline is simple yet engaging. The fighting scenes are very realistic and cool. I thought it was very inspirational that they used different weapons such as the bow and arrow and spears instead of only swords. I enjoyed watching it and really like how Arslan is someone who believes in the people. The show really captured my interest because it really shows how a small group of people can make a big difference. People can really connect with Arslan because he has to work hard and become someone his people can believe in while trying to understand who he really is and what his purpose and future will bring. It’s a great anime to watch with friends, family, or on your own. The show is a must see and I highly recommend it.
