Angry Birds Evolution: An evolution full of glitches

By Dulce Zagal ’20

Unlike other Angry Birds games before, Angry Birds Evolution is a game that no user would ever want to play. If you are an Angry Birds fan or want to play the game in general, then give it a try and see for yourself. Angry Birds Evolution is very confusing to play, with very easy to pass levels, and tons of glitches.

When you first begin Angry Birds Evolution, you are instructed step by step how to play the game. However, there are so many tabs that you can choose from that you do not know what each of them does. Also, there are many exclamation points directing you to go to a tab, but those are tabs that you have to buy items for. And they do not go away unless you buy an item. Personally, I did not like this game because after I followed the step by step procedure, I did not know what to do afterwards.

When you are in the first levels, you are in charge of defeating the “bad guys,” which in this case, the “bad guys” are the pigs. The only way to pass to the next level is to kill the pig. Also, you can level up your “birds” and defeat the pigs very easily once you complete one of the daily challenges. In other words, the user only needs to level up their birds in order to defeat the pigs and move on to the next level. I do not like that each level is easy to pass because I am a person that likes to be challenged.

When you enter a game, you expect the app game to flow as any other game would. However, Angry Birds Evolution glitches most of the time you get on it. No, it is not because of the ads, as the game has no ads at all. When you want to play a daily challenge, it takes you back to your phone’s main menu. If you go back and try the game again, the same situation happens.

When you first enter the game, it is all normal until you get to daily challenges, and it is there where the glitching starts. It is difficult for the users to pass onto the next level when the game glitches. I can say that I hate the game because it does not give me the opportunity to try the game and pass to the next level.

Some users pointed to the same glitching issue: “Like all Rovio games, this one is riddled with glitches.” I agree with the user because I have the same case where I am in a certain part of the game and it kicks me out. Apart from the game, if you are an Angry Birds fan, you can buy their merch on their website. website.
