The Neighbourhood is an American Avant garde, Indie rock band. They formed in 2011 and have released smoothing albums and  EPs. These songs will make you feel pleased and make you think about things deeply.

The type of music they play is Indie rock, alternative rock, and experimental rock. If you’re looking for a different musician and type of music then you should listen to The NBHD! The first time my friend and I had listened to them, we had fallen in love. When the beat flowed  through our ears, we had an amazing rush flow through our bodies. Don’t you want that same feeling?

Furthermore, I think The NBHD can basically fall into many music categories. In their new mixtape, “#000000 & #FFFFFF,” they have many rap artist in it. So if you like rap music ,and know you wouldn’t like the rock type, then I still think you should take a listen.

One of the most known songs is “Sweater Weather”, but that isn’t the only melody that’s sterling. Their song “Afraid” ,for example, talks about being afraid that one day people won’t be interested in his music anymore since he knows that every band fades away at some point. He’s trying to say that living a famous life is really hard and is afraid of losing everything because it’ll cause all of his pain. “When I wake up I’m afraid somebody else might take my place.”

A lot of people have said that they find The NBHD as annoying, depressing, and immature. If you actually listen to their lyrics each of their songs describe their struggles in their childhood and later on the tunes you listen to travel to present tense and you notice how they’ve overcome things and become older.
