Marcello’s Father and Son is a family oriented restaurant where professional staff members serve authentic Italian food for a not so affordable price.
Marcellos Father and Son restaurant is designed to feel very elegant, but to also have the feeling of family style dining. The staff at the classic Italian restaurant makes you feel right at home. Usually, the staff is very attentive and constantly checks up on their customers to ensure that they are not only enjoying their meal, but also enjoying the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
Authentic Italian food has been mimicked by a variety of restaurants in the Chicago area, but Marcello’s Father and Son Italian restaurant represents a perfect family style restaurant that serves exquisite food. On their menu, there is a variety of plates that are a perfect depiction of classic Italian food. Marcello’s Father and Son Restaurant is most famous for their thin crust pizza and their plate of chicken alfredo. The Italian chicken alfredo is drenched in their famous alfredo sauce. Each slice of chicken that tops off the plate is cooked to perfection. The thin crust pizza is crunchy and has a taste that’s full of flavor.
This classic Italian restaurant is definitely pricey. Drinks are always a factor in having a higher bill, but the plates on the menu itself may be too expensive for one’s liking. The average cost per plate is about $16-18 per person. Say you have about 10 people going to eat and order drinks on top of their order. The bill will be a lot higher than one may like.
Some say that the food is too salty, but it honestly is one of the only restaurants that actually has flavorful food. People think that it is salty because they may not usually eat food that has flavor. Marcello’s Father and Son is definitely one of the go to places in Chicago.
