Post Malone’s newly released album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding”, has an appealing chorus, diverse emotions, and a variety of features.

After the wild success of Post Malone’s second album, “Beerbongs & Bentleys”, fans had to wait a year to get this newly released album. The full album contains 17 songs, 14 of which are new. His album contains previously released songs like “Wow”, “Sunflower”, and “Goodbyes”.

Within this album, there have been plenty of songs that have an appealing chorus. The first song of the album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding” is about Hollywood and how it is for people who live there. A potential eye-catching line is, “We’re running out of reasons, but we can’t let go/ Yeah,  Hollywood is bleeding, but we call it home.” These two lines have a heavy meaning behind them because, despite the fact that Hollywood is in a bad place, the people living within it can not let go, they cannot leave. This line provides an insight of what is it like to live in Hollywood.

In “Circles”,  the chorus has an upbeat tune to it, despite the fact that the lyrics have a different meaning to it. The chorus talks about a toxic relationship, where both people are running away, but end up running in circles.  This can be seen as a relationship where both are repeating the same actions with no meaningful change.  This is appealing especially to the people that can relate to what the lyrics was talking about.

The album also shows a variety of emotions with the songs. “A Thousand Bad Times”, is an example of this. This is a song that talks about relationships that end badly. People keep using him for his money and fame. The song then goes on by saying that despite what happens, he is not going to give up. All of this happens in a seemingly upbeat tune, which is a unique contrast of what the whole song is about.

Another prime example is his other song, “I’m gonna be.” This one, in particular, is actually motivational. This song talks about Post Malone doing whatever he wants whenever he wants. This is an uplifting song that welcomes/ inspires people to get self-confidence and do whatever it is they want.

As for the features on the album, there is quite a handful. With 10 features on the album, there is bound to be some that stand out.

One, in particular, is “Take What You Want(feat. Ozzy Osbourne & Travis Scott)”. What stands out so much in song in this song is Ozzy Osbourne. He is a heavy metal singer and his verse along with his impressive guitar solo makes for an ecstatic song. The fact that Travis Scott teamed with Ozzy Osbourne is also impressive since both sing different genres. Some may say that by adding Ozzy Ozbourne, the song is going to fail. But this is the beauty of Post Malone, his ability to mix different artists from different genres and still manage to make the music blend is what ranks him as one of the best.
