The Cocula restaurant is a mexican cuisine with delightful service, splendid food, and amazing decor.
Once you walk in the restaurant, the server greets you with a “hello” along with a friendly smile and tells you that you can sit anywhere you feel comfortable. When I picked where to sit, the server immediately gave us the menu and placed chips, salsa, and cups of water on the table. After time given to decide what to order, the server took our order, and the server was kind enough to repeat the order to make sure everything was correct.
When the food came, the server placed my drink and food carefully on the table. I ordered an avocado torta that contained lettuce, sour cream, tomato, avocado, and beans. I added the salsa that was given with the tortilla chips to the torta, and it was delicious! Everything on the torta tied in with each other perfectly! There was a perfect amount of everything in it. It was the best torta I have ever had! To drink, I had a lemonade that was given to me like a slushy. The lemonade was not too sweet nor too bland but right in the middle.
Not only was the service and food astonishing but also the decor! In the ceiling, there is a roof that duplicates the roofs that are used in Mexican homes. It is unique because it makes you feel like you are in Mexico. Also, throughout the whole restaurant, there are different colors dispersed like blue, green, yellow, red, etc. I was amused by all the colors and decorations around me. It entertains you while waiting for the food.
Some people would say that the food was terrible, but I disagree because everything about my food was delicious! Nothing was salty, bland, etc. I recommend the Cocula Restaurant because the food, the service, and the decor were fantastic!
